Candidate Consent

Candidates acknowledge the following items when they create an account and when material policy changes occur. You can review and manage each acknowledgement at any time from your account settings.

• Terms of ServiceRequired

  Acceptance of the Competency Labs Terms of Service that govern account use.

• Privacy NoticeRequired

  Acknowledgement of how Competency Labs collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

• Assessment integrityRequired

  Confirmation that verified assessments are completed by you, without prohibited assistance.

• AI-assisted scoringRequired

  Understanding that AI produces a pre-score which is then reviewed by a qualified human reviewer before a Passport is issued.

• Passport publicationOptional

  Opt-in to publish a public, verifiable Competency Passport. You can turn public sharing off at any time.

• Employer discoverabilityOptional

  Optional opt-in to be discoverable by verified employers using Competency Labs to source verified candidates.

• Research and improvementOptional

  Optional opt-in to include your anonymised responses in aggregate rubric improvement research. No personal data is shared.

Each acknowledgement records the consent type, version, timestamp, and a hashed integrity signal. Withdrawing an optional consent updates your account immediately. Withdrawing a required consent may limit your ability to use parts of Competency Labs.
